Palitto Consulting team members Ryan Fraedrich and Jack Stoller recently participated in the Global Cyber Skills Benchmark CTF 2025: Operation Blackout, an international capture-the-flag (CTF) competition hosted by Hack The Box.

This event included 795 teams and over 4,500 participants from around the world, many from large, well-known tech companies. Ryan and Jack entered as a team of two and spent the weekend working through a variety of cybersecurity challenges designed to test technical skill and strategic thinking.

By the end of the competition, they had solved 18 challenges and captured 27 flags, finishing within the top third of all global teams.

Ryan commented, “We punched well above our weight through tenacity, dedication, and skill. I’m proud to be here and share it with you.”

While our focus remains on serving our clients, we value continuous learning and staying current in a rapidly evolving field. Experiences like this allow our team to grow, so that we can continue to better care, know, and serve.
