Since joining our team in 2010, Colin Mitchell has been an integral part of the PCS development team. With a strong background in applied mathematics and computer science, he brings analytical insight and technical precision to every project he touches.
Colin earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics from the University of Akron, where he developed a deep interest in problem-solving and computation. His passion for technology began in high school, when he taught himself C programming to create video games. That curiosity has since evolved into a career spanning computer networking, open-source systems, web and mail servers, scientific computation, and electronics.
Beyond his technical expertise, Colin is known for his dedication, curiosity, and steady approach to complex challenges. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, mechanics, and astronomy.
