One of Tim’s greatest passions is guiding others in their application of technology to solve their business challenges. He has a strong background in engineering, sales, and marketing which allows him to be to a great asset to many organizations. One of Tim’s strengths is working with customers to understand their current situation and find an optimal solution. Tim’s formal education includes a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering from The University of Akron. He has worked in many corporate roles and has had wide industry exposure.
Tim is spearheading the growing and multi-faceted PCS development group. The best way to appreciate the strength and broad array of services the team can provide is to know a little more about them. The development team is very knowledgeable and experienced on a wide variety of programming languages and platforms, including but not limited to C#, C++, .Net, HTML, CSS and SQL, PHP, Python and Javascript. They are always continuing their education through additional certifications, classes, workshops and conferences. Tim enjoys leading the team, utilizing the right resources at the right time.
The PCS team is called on by a wide variety of companies and VoIP partners to solve needs other tech-oriented firms cannot. Complex situations involving several applications and platforms, can lead future PCS customers to a point where they are informed there is no solution. PCS specializes in these knowledge gaps and can solve seemingly unsolvable problems.
In recent years, a large focus has been on the automation of business processes. In order to stay competitive, companies must continue to automate and find ways to become more efficient. Those who are successful are not relying on previous successes, but always to maximize technology to improve process.
Tim, along with the team, has had much success in the financial community with call centers, as well as many other industries. The development team has a nationwide reputation for creating time-saving custom VoIP integrations. Other areas of strategic focus for the team is artificial intelligence, business intelligence, gamification of employee process, and virtual reality.
One example where PCS was able to help automate business process was with a very well-known and respected company that had a call center with 300 agents. This enterprise had a highly customized business process that was largely human driven. PCS created an automated process that enabled the call center to have a “single pane of glass” view inside their business application which gave them full telephony control in the proper context. The resulting process is easy to manage, improves customer service and reduces the stress and responsibility of the contact center agents.
When asked what makes PCS different, Tim’s response is: “Our focus is always on the Five-Way Win, a core ideology we focus on, which means we strive for the best solution to benefit every party of each business we serve. We are not motived by specific technologies. We are motived by using technologies that enable a win for our client and their customers. We don’t bend the customers business process around the best software, we use the best software and technologies to implement the customers business process.”
Tim lives with his wife and children in Wadsworth, Ohio. He enjoys spending time with his children as well as bike riding and personal development. Tim and his wife have a hobby farm where his children enjoy the benefits of caring for animals as well as learning responsibilities of life.
